Sheila Gearhart is excited to begin her second year with Spotsylvania County Public Schools, supporting Wilderness Elementary and Courtland High School as an Instructional Innovation Specialist. Originally from beautiful Southern Maryland, Sheila brings over 20 years of classroom teaching experience alongside seven years as a Technology Integration Specialist. She holds a Post-Baccalaureate Learning Technology Certificate and specializes in leveraging the purposeful use of technology to enhance learning experiences. As the new school year begins, she looks forward to collaborating with staff to inspire growth. Outside of work, Sheila is happily married and a proud mom to two grown sons, ages 23 and 28. Whether at home or in the classroom, she is dedicated to supporting those around her.
