About me
Sarah Dornan has served Spotsylvania County Public Schools since 2001, beginning as a classroom teacher, She transitioned to a school librarian in 2004, where she spent nearly two decades fostering lifelong readers.In 2023, she served as an Instructional Innovation Specialist before returning to her role as librarian at Ni River Middle School in January 2025.Her professional interests include instructional technology, with a focus on robotics, coding, virtual reality, 3D printing—including supporting school-based 3D printing programs—and web design. She was named the VAASL Rappahannock Regional Librarian of the Year and has been a member of the SCPS Computer Science Team since 2017. She also serves as the SCPS K–12 Computer Science Liaison alongside her current role.Outside of school, she is a proud spouse, mother of four, and recently added two dogs to her busy household last summer.
