About me
Lisa Andruss brings 36 years of passion and experience to the field of education. Starting out as an English teacher in Florida, she wore many hats — high school reading specialist, ESL teacher, and State Certified ESL teacher trainer — before spending the last 20 years as a school administrator at both the elementary and high school levels.
She holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UMass Lowell and an Educational Specialist Degree from Old Dominion University.
Along the way, Lisa came to understand something fundamental: students of all ages and abilities are searching for acceptance and understanding, and every behavior — whether from a kindergartner or a high school senior — is a form of communication. She is committed to helping educators build meaningful relationships and design engaging lessons that make school a place both teachers and students genuinely enjoy.
At home, Lisa is the proud mother of two daughters who have followed her into the classroom — one in special education and one in first grade. Watching them grow as educators is one of her greatest joys.
