About me
Kiari Cole is a first-year 7th grade Civics teacher at Battlefield Middle School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Virginia Commonwealth University with minors in African American History and Teacher Preparation for Historians. Passionate about making history relevant, amplifying student voice, fostering civic engagement, and building meaningful relationships with students, she is committed to helping young people understand their role in shaping their communities. Her first year in the classroom has reinforced her belief that strong relationships and authentic learning experiences are at the heart of student success.
